HCNE's plans for furthering
our Education, Community Service and Research include
the following:
-Multicenter
trials of new pharmacological and non-pharmacological
treatment of migraine
-Multicenter trials of proposed
treatments for chronic daily headache
-Pilot studies of new proposed
treatments in headache medicine
-Public programs aimed at
migraine and other types of headache for sufferers
and their families
-Travel scholarships for physicians-in-training
to attend HCNE courses throughout New England
-Commissioning of informational
articles about various aspects of headache medicine
for publication on our Web site and elsewhere
With such an ambitious agenda,
members and friends of the Headache Cooperative
of New England can play a vital role in helping
HCNE meet our research and education goals at a
continued high level of quality. Sponsors can include
patients, professionals, philanthropists, corporations,
or any group or individual concerned about headache
and its treatment.

for HCNE include: Sponsor: $1-$1000 Donor: $1000-$10,000
Benefactor: $10,000
and above
HCNE's Stated Goals:
To advance the science of
headache through education and coordinated research;
to provide a forum to link providers of headache
care throughout the northeast; to support access
to appropriate care for our patients, and to increase
awareness about national and international organizations
and journals devoted to headache research and patient
care.
HCNE's Primary Activities:
Producing seminars, courses
and publications devoted to Headache Medicine, including
a yearly Headache Medicine Board Certification Review.
The Winter HCNE Stowe Headache Symposium and the
Fall Boston HCNE Headache Conference have become
mainstays of the field in our region, and attract
a national attendance, in large part because of
the national and international stature of faculty
at these meetings.

Donating to the Headache Cooperative of New England
HCNE is designated
by the Internal Revenue Service as a not-for-profit
501(c)(3) organization, and donations to HCNE are
tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
