Dr. Rebecca Burch has kindly provided the lead article on migraine epidemiology, which
reminds us how common migraine is. I advise readers to familiarize themselves with the
American Migraine Study publications. Funding for CME meetings throughout the medical community continues to be tough, but at present HCNE is proud to continue bringing you quality programs with high-value lectures (and affordable CME credits, from the University of Vermont). Our recent annual Stowe meeting was the time during which we gave lifetime awards, and there were two recipients this year (see HCNE News Section). I have also added a section, ‘In the News’ as there are many news articles which directly or peripherally involve headache medicine that would be worthy of comment.
