HCNE had another successful winter meeting in Stowe, VT, where Richard Lipton, MD, received our lifetime achievement award. See Awards page.

Our newest board member, Steven Scrivani, DDS, has kindly written a summary piece on trigeminal neuralgia which is our lead article. See Feature Article.Thank you, Steve.

In June, the American Headache Society (AHS) scientific meeting will be held here in Boston, and HCNE board member Fred Sheftell, MD, will become president of AHS. All readers are encouraged to attend this annual meeting. HCNE will have another Headache Medicine Board Review course in the summer for those candidates sitting the UCNS Headache Board examination in 2009 or wish a refresher course. See Conferences for details on both of these events.
